Having trouble confirming the entry “xiaoxia” (noob in mandarin) as shown in The Meaning of Tingo. I deduced that the most correct pinyin word is xiăoxiā, but all the mandarin-speaking people I have asked don’t know what it means. The literal translation, small lobster, doesn’t show up in the english-chinese dictionaries I have looked over. The closest thing I have found is simply 虾 “xiā”(shrimp)
If there is a word for noob in mandarin, it’s probably not xiăoxiā.
