Voted on the Primary today. Seems like I was the only one there. You lazy bastards!!!
A few progressives were suggesting that other progressives should vote for Republicans Romney or Paul to shake things up. I just don’t believe in that.
Any drastic change in policy always ends up favoring the primary victor. Any party with different long-term goals who ally with large opposition parties for common short-term benefit always end up losing.. This happened in the Russian and Iranian revolutions. The enablers then were lucky if they ended up with egg on their face, that would be the last thing they ever ate as they got locked up in a cold, wet dungeon by people who were their allies shortly before.
I thought progressives were better than all that “enemy of my enemy” crap.
