My first cut included a paragraph on how I assumed this episode was a Walker version of a reliable police show trope, the Quincy Punk. In this trope, our noble protagonist immerses himself into a evening-news facsimile of a misunderstood music culture and thumbs their nose at them. And of course, bad guys hide in the ornery and dispossessed culture. Examples below.

I might Netflix Walker, Texas Ranger to catch this episode. After all, Walker seems bigger here than Dallas.
